Sony Ericsson’s TM506 announced, supports T-Mobile 3G
North Carolina, August 21– Sony Ericsson today announced the expansion of its carrier channels in the U.S. to include wireless leader T-Mobile USA, starting with the launch of the TM506 in early September. The TM506 is Sony Ericsson’s first handset supporting T-Mobile’s AWS spectrum (1700/2100).
The TM506 looks to be sleek basic model with a variety of features, with tri-band connectivity, and a 2.0 megapixel camera.
Furthermore, the phone has a built-in A-GPS navigation feature in the TM506 along with the Telenav application from T-Mobile. Trust Sony Ericsson to throw in some music functionality, and removable M2 Memory Stick Micro slot for your music.
The TM506 will be available in early September at select T-Mobile retail stores and online at www.t-mobile.com.
